Club Description & Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Club Overview

The Adventure Club ("the Club") is a membership-based outdoor lifestyle programme designed to provide members with exclusive access to adventure experiences, transport benefits, and preferential pricing on selected activities.

The Club is operated by the Operator ("Franschhoek Rent a Bicycle"), which provides adventure activities, guided tours, rentals, and related services.

The primary feature of the Club is access to complimentary tuk tuk shuttle services for active members, subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Purpose of the Club

The Club is designed to:

Encourage outdoor adventure participation

Provide convenient and safe transport solutions for members

Reward loyalty with exclusive benefits

Build a community around adventure, cycling, and outdoor experiences

4. Membership Duration

4.1 Membership is valid for a fixed term of:1 Day

4.2 Membership commences on the date booked

4.3 Membership does not automatically renew unless expressly agreed in writing.

4.4 Early cancellation by the member does not entitle the member to a refund unless required by law.

5. Membership Benefits

Active members may receive the following benefits (subject to availability and operational policies):

5.1 Complimentary Tuk Tuk Shuttle

Free tuk tuk shuttle transport for members while membership is active

Shuttle routes limited to designated operational zones

Shuttle subject to availability and booking confirmation

Advance booking may be required

Fair usage policy applies (see Section 8)

5.2 Discounted Activities

Preferential pricing on guided tours, rentals, and events

Discount percentages determined by the Company

5.3 Priority Booking

Priority access to limited-capacity events or peak season bookings

5.4 Member-Only Events

Invitations to exclusive rides, adventure days, or networking events

5.5 Partner Benefits

Access to selected partner discounts (where applicable)

Benefits may change from time to time at the Company’s discretion.

6. Tuk Tuk Shuttle Terms

6.1 Shuttle services are provided as a member benefit and not as a public transport service.

6.2 Shuttle services operate only during designated hours and approved routes.

6.3 Members must:

Present valid proof of membership

Pre-book where required

Comply with safety instructions

6.4 The Company reserves the right to:

Limit shuttle capacity

Refuse transport where safety is compromised

Adjust routes and schedules

6.5 Shuttle services may be suspended due to:

Weather conditions

Mechanical issues

Operational requirements

Regulatory restrictions

No compensation shall be payable for temporary suspension.

7. Fees & Payment

7.1 Membership fees are payable in advance.

7.2 Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

7.3 The Company may revise membership pricing for future membership periods.

8. Fair Usage Policy

8.1 Complimentary shuttle access is intended for reasonable recreational use.

8.2 Excessive or commercial use is prohibited.

8.3 The Company reserves the right to:

Monitor usage patterns

Restrict benefits in cases of abuse

Suspend or terminate membership for misuse

3. Rent a Bicycle Franschhoek shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, additional cost, accident, delay, irregularity that may be occasioned by any error or default, act or omission by the client in carrying out the arrangements of a bicycle rental or a tour, or otherwise in connection therewith.
